Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a field service engineer to perform on-site installation, commissioning and service of medical imaging and accelerator systems. You will troubleshoot complex equipment, check performance, and train customers on operation and maintenance.

The role requires travel with a company vehicle, strong engineering knowledge, and excellent communication in English. The position offers competitive base pay, differential/overtime, and a safety-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus 2–4 years related experience, or an associate/bachelor’s degree in a related program.
• Experience with electronic/electro-mechanical engineering and RF energy devices.
• Proficiency with test equipment and basic networking to integrate the machine onto the customer server.
• Strong communication and English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site installation and commissioning of linear accelerators and imaging systems, plus diagnostics, troubleshooting, service, and repair.
• Check and approve operational quality of system equipment.
• Instruct customers in operation and maintenance of the system.
• Serve as liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects and facilitate resolutions.
