Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a LIHTC Development Consultant to advise affordable housing developers on 9% and 4% LIHTC transactions from feasibility through closing. The role emphasizes strategic leadership, client relationship management, and mentoring staff.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of LIHTC development/consulting experience, with multi-state LIHTC exposure and strong Excel/reporting skills. Remote or hybrid options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; 5+ years LIHTC development/consulting experience.
• CPA, MBA, MRED, JD or similar credential preferred.
• Multi-state 9% and 4% LIHTC experience.
• Strong knowledge of LIHTC program, QAPs, and housing agency processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead LIHTC development strategy, feasibility analyses, and capital stack structuring.
• Direct preparation and review of LIHTC applications under QAPs and positioning strategies.
• Review sources and uses, credit calculations, and operating pro formas; advise on equity pricing.
• Manage client relationships and mentor staff across engagements.
