Job summary

Lotus Company is seeking a Development Analyst to support multifamily LIHTC projects in Salt Lake City. You will work with the development team and collaborate with accounting, asset management, capital strategies, and construction to advance deals from due diligence through closing.

The role emphasizes financial modeling, market research, and LIHTC compliance, with opportunities to grow into an Associate role within the Development Department at our downtown Salt Lake City office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, real estate, or related field.
• 0-3+ years of experience in multifamily development or related real estate field.
• Highly analytical and results driven.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills to prepare data and research analysis.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the development team in all phases of multifamily development, including site selection and due diligence.
• Assist with LIHTC applications and other public funding proposals.
• Prepare project proformas, budgets, and financial models under senior guidance.
• Maintain development checklists, timelines, and milestones.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather documentation.
• Monitor LIHTC compliance and coordinate with teams for submissions.
• Progress toward independent management of project components.
