Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee LIHTC/HUD compliance across properties. You will work with on-site and corporate teams, perform audits, and ensure accurate reporting.

Travel as needed and contribute to training on LIHTC, fair housing, and other compliance procedures. The role includes evaluating unit counts and coordinating with housing authorities to ensure successful audits.

Qualifikationen

• 1-2 years of on-site or compliance experience processing LIHTC (Section 42) paperwork.
• Proven experience with HUD, Section 8, 202, and/or 811 programs.
• Knowledge of LIHTC certification paperwork requirements.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, properties, and supervisors.

Aufgaben

• Work with on-site and corporate staff to ensure regulatory compliance with housing programs.
• Travel as needed based on business requirements.
• Perform audits and implement necessary solutions.
• Maintain compliance reporting data entry, filing, and ongoing file upkeep.
• Conduct on-going training for on-site staff including LIHTC and Fair housing procedures.
• Process commissions for move-ins and re-certifications.
• Communicate with Local Housing Authority and State Agency staff on compliance, inspections, and audits.
• Assist in Mass Recertifications, Re-syndication, Lease-ups, and Acquisitions.
• Review property management software data for accuracy.
• Ensure proper 60/50% Tax Credit, Bond, and RDA unit counts per property.
• Follow up and retrieve Utility Allowances and income/rent limits.
