Job summary

Gross Lighting & Home is seeking a Showroom Sales Consultant to help customers select lighting and decorative hardware that fits their style, needs and budget. You will combine creativity, product knowledge, and consultative selling to deliver an exceptional experience for homeowners, designers, builders and contractors.

You will greet customers, demonstrate products, educate on features and installation, and work with the showroom team to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of professional sales experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; interior design degree preferred.
• Proven retail sales experience in decorative lighting, hardware, or home improvement products.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through lighting and hardware selections.
• Provide product demonstrations and recommendations.
• Develop relationships with homeowners, interior designers, builders and contractors to drive repeat business.
• Educate customers on product features, benefits, and installation techniques.
• Achieve sales goals through thoughtful recommendations, follow-up, and lasting relationships.
• Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Handle customer inquiries, follow-ups, and resolve issues professionally.
