Job summary

Richelieu is seeking a Business Development Manager – Lighting & Design Specialist to grow our lighting business across the Midwest and Western United States. You will blend design insight with product expertise to engage cabinet shops, showrooms, designers, and fabricators, translating design concepts into practical lighting solutions.

Travel 50–70% is typical; an eye for interior space design, strong presentation skills, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in interior design, architecture, or related field preferred.
• Experience collaborating with designers, showrooms, and manufacturers.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the Midwest and Western US.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cabinet shops, dealers, showrooms, designers, and manufacturers to grow lighting opportunities.
• Help customers incorporate lighting into cabinetry, furniture, and spaces.
• Deliver product demonstrations and design consultations to educate and win new business.
• Partner with sales reps on territory development and opportunities.
• Support events, tradeshows, and showroom activities to drive lighting sales.
