Job summary

Richelieu Hardware seeks a Lighting & Design Specialist in the Midwest/West region. This highly customer-facing role blends design expertise with business development, helping cabinet shops, showrooms, designers, and manufacturers incorporate lighting into spaces.

The role emphasizes translating design concepts into lighting solutions, educating customers, and partnering with sales reps to grow lighting opportunities across the territory. Training will be provided to become a lighting specialist.

Qualifications

• Strong design instincts and the ability to visualize finished spaces.
• Experience working directly with customers, designers, showrooms, or manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Work with cabinet shops, dealers, showrooms, designers, and woodworking customers to integrate lighting.
• Help customers incorporate lighting into cabinetry, furniture, closets, and interior spaces.
• Support sales calls, design consultations, product demonstrations, and customer presentations.
• Travel frequently to develop territory and opportunities.
