Job summary

Musco, a leader in sports and large-area lighting, seeks a Troubleshooting Specialist for 2nd shift at the Oskaloosa office. You will provide frontline support for Musco products, troubleshoot electrical systems, and report performance issues while collaborating with the Warranty Department and internal teams.

The role requires an electronics background, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task under deadlines.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electronics preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• 3 years’ experience with electrical installations and troubleshooting in commercial/light industrial settings.
• Experience with control systems, project management, and technical support a plus.
• Knowledge of electronic systems/communications lingo (cellular, Ethernet, fiber, networking) or ability to learn.
• Knowledge of single/three phase power and DC applications or ability to learn.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong internet/computer skills including Excel and Word.
• Ability to multi-task and work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline telephone support for technical problem solving and electrical troubleshooting.
• Identify and report product performance issues and develop front-end detection processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain high customer service quality.
• Manage issues from first contact to resolution.
• Log, track, and route calls and service orders using Musco applications.
• Other duties as assigned.
