Job summary

Musco Sports Lighting, LLC is seeking a Controls & Electronics Technician for its Warranty Team in Oskaloosa, IA. You will maintain Musco products in the field, provide frontline support, and serve as the technical resource for Musco systems.

The role requires electronics/controls experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under deadlines with multi-tasking capabilities. Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with on-call rotation is typical.

Qualifications

Associates degree in electronics preferred or equivalent education/experience
3 years’ experience with electrical installations and troubleshooting in a commercial or light industrial environment a plus
Experience with control systems, project management, and technical support a plus
Knowledge of technical lingo associated with electronic systems and/or communications including cellular, Ethernet, fiber, networking or ability to learn
Working knowledge of single phase and three phase electrical power and DC applications, or ability to learn
Strong analytical, technical, and problem solving skills
Strong internet and computer experience including Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to prioritize issues and manage deadlines with attention to detail

Responsibilities

Provide frontline telephone support for technical problem solving and electrical troubleshooting to customers and internal teams
Identify and report product performance issues and assist in creating manuals and training materials
Collaborate with internal teams to maintain high-quality customer service
Manage product performance issues from first contact to resolution
Use Musco computer applications to log, track, and route service orders
