Job summary

Musco is seeking a Troubleshooting Specialist at our Oskaloosa, IA office to maintain Musco products in the field and provide frontline support to customers and the Musco Team. You will serve as the technical resource for Musco products, with a focus on problem solving, communication, and timely issue resolution.

Ideal candidates have an associates degree in electronics or equivalent experience, 3+ years in electrical installations and troubleshooting, and strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electronics preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3 years’ experience in electrical installations and troubleshooting a plus.
• Experience with control systems, project management, and technical support is a plus.
• Knowledge of electronic systems and/or communications including cellular, Ethernet, fiber, networking or ability to learn.
• Working knowledge of single phase and three phase power and DC applications or ability to learn.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem solving skills.
• Strong internet and computer experience including Excel and Word.
• Ability to work under deadlines, multi-task, and communicate effectively.
• Basic knowledge of Musco systems, products, and services a plus.
• Knowledge of NEC and standards a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline telephone support for technical problem solving and electrical troubleshooting.
• Identify and report product performance issues and assist in creating manuals and training.
• Work with internal Musco team to maintain high-quality customer service.
• Manage product performance issues from first contact through resolution.
• Utilize Musco applications for logging, tracking, and routing calls and service orders.
