Job summary

SESC0 Lighting, Inc. seeks an outside sales professional to cultivate relationships with the SESCO field team and end-user customers in facilities needing controls solutions. You’ll work with manufacturers and distributors to identify opportunities and present practical recommendations.

In this role you’ll develop strong customer partnerships, manage multiple priorities, and stay informed on products and technologies. A proven sales track record and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a professional environment.
• Excellent sales skills including cold calling, building relationships, selling value, and customer service.
• Exhibit excellent communications skills and the ability to develop presentations to customers and present in a professional manner.
• Must learn and maintain knowledge on all manufacturers represented.

Responsibilities

• Become an industry resource for controls and provide recommendations (solutions) to existing and new construction job sites through contacts with developers for public and private facilities.
• Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with customers, manufacturers, and outside salespeople.
• Identify customers needing controls solutions and work with other SESCO salespeople to address them.
• Solve problems quickly and turn them into opportunities.
• Earn discretionary business from customer base to passthrough Distributors.
• Ensure quick and proper response to all reasonable customer requests.
• Identify and secure new markets and adoption of new technologies within your territory.
• Maintain profitability by meeting budgets and controlling expenses.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
