Job summary

SESCO Lighting, Inc. in Oklahoma City seeks an experienced outside sales professional to build and maintain relationships with end users and the SESCO field team.

You will become an industry resource for controls, develop solutions for new construction projects, and work independently while coordinating with designers, developers, and distributors. The role requires 5+ years of professional experience, strong presentation and communication skills, reliability, and a proven ability to sell value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a professional environment.
• Must learn and maintain knowledge on all manufacturers represented.
• Excellent sales skills including cold calling, building relationships, selling value, and customer service.
• Self-motivated and goal oriented.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver license, and insurance.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Bluebeam and basic understanding of AutoCAD knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Become an industry resource for controls and provide recommendations (solutions) to existing and new construction job sites through contacts with developers for public and private facilities.
• Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with customers, manufacturers, and outside salespeople.
• Work in conjunction with other SESCO salespeople and identify customers needing controls solutions.
• Solve problems quickly and turn them into opportunities.
• Earn discretionary business from customer base to passthrough Distributors.
• Ensure quick and proper response to all reasonable customer requests.
• Identify and secure new markets and adoption of new technologies within your territory.
• Maintain profitability by meeting goals and managing expenses.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
