Utah Transit Authority (UTA) seeks a supervisor to oversee the continuous daily operation of its Light Rail System, coordinating with OPS and Training Supervisors to ensure safety, efficiency, and a high value in transportation services. Qualificações

• Associate’s degree in Business Management or equivalent experience; substitution rules apply.
• Must pass a pre-qualification exam.
• Four years leadership experience in supervisory roles.
• Three years customer service experience with problem solving.
• Two years transit industry experience preferred.
• One year dispatch/control experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rail required training, procedures, core competencies incl. FTA and FRA.
• Knowledge of radio system with FTA/FRA procedures and protocols.
• Familiarity with rail transit preferred.
• Must meet rail training and procedures standards.
• Radio system knowledge per FTA/FRA.
• Rail transit familiarity preferred.
• Pass basic Word and Excel tests.
• Pass basic grammar test.
• Physical requirements: lift up to 25 lbs., reach overhead, occasional climbing.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise daily operation of Light Rail Control Center.
• Coordinate training with OPS and Training Supervisors.
• Maintain detailed records of train movements, logs, and schedules.
• Ensure safety and meet operational/financial targets.
• Represent department in meetings with outside agencies.
• Work 24/7/365 rotation to ensure continuous operation.
