Utah Transit Authority seeks a supervisor to oversee daily light rail operations, coordinating with OPS and training teams to ensure safe and efficient rail movement. You will monitor trains via radios and computer systems, maintain logs, and uphold safety and performance targets.

The role requires leadership experience, familiarity with rail procedures, and the ability to work a 24/7 shift rotation. This is a union position with benefits through the Union.

Competenze

• Associate’s degree in Business Management or related field; equivalency allowed via work experience.
• Pre-qualification exam required.

Mansioni

• Supervise daily operation of the Light Rail Control Center and coordinate with OPS Supervisors and Training Supervisors.
• Maintain detailed records of train movements, logs, and schedules; monitor with radios and computer systems.
• Ensure safety of employees and meet operational/financial targets; represent department in external meetings.
