Purple Line Transit Operators seeks a Transportation Line Supervisor to support testing, prepare operating rules, and supervise LRV Operators during the pre-revenue phase and revenue service. You will monitor operations, respond to incidents, mentor new operators, and coordinate with dispatch and OCC to maintain safe, reliable service.

The role requires leadership experience, knowledge of FTA/DOT regulations, and strong communication to interact with passengers and staff.

Competenze

• Be prepared to become certified to operate an LRV and maintain certification.
• Knowledge of applicable regulations (FTA/OSHA/DOT).
• Ability to learn transit vehicle operations and routes.
• Familiarity with state/local traffic regulations and time schedules.
• Experience with transit services and schedules training.

Mansioni

• Participate in pre-revenue training to become a qualified LRV Operator.
• Operate LRVs during startup to support readiness and service delivery.
• Mentor future LRV Operators after qualification.
• Help develop training materials and SOPs based on hands-on experience.
• Ensure Dicipline and safety per policies and FTA regulations.
• Provide performance feedback and manage shifts to optimize OTP.
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding efforts.
• Attend mandatory meetings and develop professional standards.
