RTD in Denver seeks a Supervisory leader for Signal & Train Control Maintenance (Light Rail) to supervise signaling, train control, and PTC maintenance staff. The role ensures safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance for wayside signaling equipment, power and interlocking systems.

Responsibilities include budgeting support, performance analysis, and cross-department coordination to drive improvements and reliable service for RTD riders.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in electronics or bachelor’s in electrical engineering preferred.
• Minimum of one year of progressively responsible experience in signal, train control, or transit maintenance operations.
• Experience with light rail wayside signaling, electronic/electromechanical systems, or related control systems including testing and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards (FTA, OSHA) relevant to signal and train control maintenance.
• Ability to supervise, train, and provide guidance to maintenance personnel under supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, direct, and coordinate RTD’s light rail signal, train control, and PTC maintenance activities.
• Supervise maintenance staff, assign shifts, monitor performance, and ensure safe operations.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs and manage inventory/staging for parts and tools.
• Develop and maintain departmental policies, procedures, and maintenance records; ensure documentation of inspections and tests.
• Assist budgeting, staffing, and labor negotiations; prepare analyses and performance reports; support system upgrades and reliability initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Safety, Finance, and Procurement to address maintenance challenges and improve uptime.
