Job summary

Westmont Living in Carmel Valley is seeking a dynamic Lifestyle Director to lead senior activity programs, coordinate events, and create engaging experiences for residents. The role emphasizes planning, organization, and compassionate interaction within a caring team environment.

Responsibilities include developing calendar activities, supervising staff or volunteers, and ensuring safety and compliance while delivering joyful, meaningful daily life for residents.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate written and orally in English.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with Senior Living.
• Three years’ experience in conducting group activities or CA Activity Certification with two years of related experience.
• Current Class B driver’s license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Certified Dementia Advanced Care preferred.

What we need from you:

• Able to communicate written and orally in English.
• Within 30 days of hire be certified in CPR and First Aid
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with Senior Living
• Have 3 years’ experience in conducting group activities and events or completed CA Activity Certification course and at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current Class B drivers’ license, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Cares Dementia Advanced Care Certification, preferred
• Must have strong organizational skills including ability to follow-up, detail-oriented, ability to multitask.
