Job summary

Westmont of Santa Cruz is seeking a dynamic and creative Lifestyle Director to join our team. In this role you will plan and lead engaging activities for residents across independent living, assisted living and memory care, while fostering a warm, respectful community.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly in English, has experience in senior living, and holds relevant certifications. We offer competitive pay, daily pay, meal benefits, and full benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with Senior Living.
• 3 years’ experience in conducting group activities and events or CA Activity Certification plus 2 years related experience.
• Current Class B driver's license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Dementia Advanced Care Certification preferred.
• Strong organizational, follow-up, detail-oriented and multitasking skills.

What we need from you:

• Able to communicate written and orally in English.
• Within 30 days of hire be certified in CPR and First Aid
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with Senior Living
• Have 3 years’ experience in conducting group activities and events or completed CA Activity Certification course and at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current Class B drivers’ license, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Cares Dementia Advanced Care Certification, preferred
• Must have strong organizational skills including ability to follow-up, detail-oriented, ability to multitask.
