Job summary

Westmont Living in San Diego area is seeking a dynamic Lifestyle Director to design and lead engaging activities for residents across memory care, assisted living, and independent living.

You will coordinate events, manage volunteers, and partner with the care team to enhance quality of life while maintaining safety and compliance. This role requires empathy, creativity, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly in English, written and spoken.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with Senior Living.
• Three years’ experience in group activities or CA Activity Certification with related experience.
• Current Class B driver’s license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Dementia Advanced Care Certification preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

What we need from you:

• Able to communicate written and orally in English.

• Within 30 days of hire be certified in CPR and First Aid

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of two years’ experience with Senior Living

• Have 3 years’ experience in conducting group activities and events or completed CA Activity Certification course and at least 2 years of related experience.

• Current Class B drivers’ license, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

• Cares Dementia Advanced Care Certification, preferred

• Must have strong organizational skills including ability to follow-up, detail-oriented, ability to multitask.
