Corvallis School District is seeking an Educational Assistant - Lifeskills for a limited term. The role supports licensed staff in implementing IEPs and provides individualized and small group instruction to students with moderate to severe disabilities.

Responsibilities include data collection, behavior support, and assisting with basic skills, mobility, and communication. The position runs 6.5 hours per day over 181 work days, with benefits; start ASAP.

Formación

• Associate's degree or higher, 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits, or passing score on assessment.
• Prior experience with special needs students desirable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents and students.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in implementing developmental, academic and life skills instructional programs under licensed staff.
• Work with diverse cultures and backgrounds; support IEP goals and objectives.
• Provide small group and one-on-one instruction; adjust strategies as needed.
• Record and maintain developmental data; communicate progress with licensed staff.
• Supervise students on and off campus and assist with behavior management.
