Job summary

Corvallis School District seeks an Educational Assistant 2 for Adams Elementary on a limited-term basis. 6.5 hours per day, Monday–Friday, starting as soon as possible for the 2026/2027 school year, with a $21.25/hr wage and benefits.

The role supports licensed staff, prepares instructional materials, and assists in small-group instruction. Qualifications include an associate degree or higher, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher required; two years post-secondary or passing district assessment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; responsive to parents under supervision.
• Ability to organize information and manage classroom operations with independence when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed staff in instructional activities and small group work.
• Prepare instructional materials and classroom visuals; distribute supplies.
• Supervise student activities inside and outside the classroom; support behavior management.
