Job summary

Corvallis School District in Corvallis, Oregon is seeking an Educational Assistant 2 for a limited term 2026/2027 to support licensed staff with curriculum implementation.

The role is 7 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with benefits and participation in PERS/OPSRP retirement. Eligible candidates will assist in one-on-one and small group instruction.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree or 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
• Ability to follow instructional goals under licensed staff guidance.

Responsibilities

• Exercises independent judgment in managing classroom operations under direction.
• Assist in instruction of students in small group and one-on-one settings.
• Prepare instructional materials and organize supplies for lessons.
• Support students in developing positive relationships and safety.
• Coach volunteers and staff to work with students per district plan.
• Maintain information and supplies using standard office systems.
