Job summary

Lane ESD is seeking an Instructional Assistant for Life Skills, At Large. The role supports licensed teachers in implementing instructional and behavioral plans for students with moderate to severe disabilities.

Duties include data collection, assisting with daily living activities, and maintaining student confidentiality. The position serves in a 182–187 day calendar, with full benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement; start date is mutually agreed upon.

Qualifications

• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and school staff is required.
• The ability to follow teacher direction, including written instructional and behavior plans is required.
• First/Aid/CPR card is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in planning and implementing instructional activities.
• Implement strategies to promote skill development and student independence.
• Collect data and provide feedback on student performance.
