HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is hiring a part-time Lifeguard for Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness at our client site in Bentonville, AR. Earn $14–$18.50 per hour while staying active and building leadership skills in a modern facility.

Ideal for students or those seeking extra cash, with up to 19 hours per week and opportunities to work with a dedicated aquatics team. Must be 16+, with ARC Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, First Aid, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification.
• Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards.
• Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages with strong customer service skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and familiar with a member management system and databases.
• Pre-employment drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure safety of patrons using aquatic facilities.
• Enforce rules and communicate safety instructions.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Perform chemical testing and document results for three water bodies and a hot tub four times daily.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and equipment, including towels and water machines.
• Maintain a professional attitude and support the aquatics team.

About the role

Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness, managed by HealthFitness, is hiring part-time Lifeguards to join the aquatics team at our client site located in Bentonville, AR! Work in a cool, modern facility, stay active, build leadership skills, and help keep the pool safe - all while earning extra cash. Perfect for students or a great first job. Up to 19 hours per week

Key Accountabilities

• Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.
• Enforce and explain rules as necessary.
• Respond appropriately to any emergency.
• Perform chemical testing and documents results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day.
• Attend all required staff meetings and training.
• Ensure that needs of the aquatic center are being met by folding towels; cleaning; filling water machines; and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure safe environment for members.
• Maintain a professional attitude.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification.
• Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards.
• Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.

Compensation

Compensation: $14 - $18.50/ hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
