Job summary

HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is hiring part-time Lifeguards to join the aquatics team at our client site in Bentonville, AR. Work in a cool, modern facility, stay active, build leadership skills, and help keep the pool safe — all while earning extra cash.

Up to 19 hours per week. Compensation ranges from $14 to $18.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Great for students or a first job with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification.
• Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; and working knowledge of member management systems and databases.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.
• Enforce and explain rules as necessary.
• Respond appropriately to any emergency.
• Perform chemical testing and document results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day.
• Attend all required staff meetings and training.
• Ensure needs of the aquatic center are met by folding towels, cleaning, filling water machines, and inspecting the Aquatics Facility.
• Maintain a professional attitude.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Compensation

$14 - $18.50/ hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
