Free Swim Lessons for immediate family of employees
Maintain constant surveillance to ensure the safety of our customers and report any unsafe activities, equipment or instruction to management.
Provide feedback to instructors immediately if they are outside of curriculum safety requirements (i.e. safety distances, holds, turning backs, etc.)
Act immediately and appropriately to secure the safety of customers in the event of an emergency.
Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
Prepare appropriate incident reports.
Always present a professional and engaging attitude.
Attend monthly in-services to continue to work on lifeguarding skills.
Deliver a world-class experience by ensuring we are providing a safe environment for our swimmers.
Weekdays, Weeknights and Weekends required
10+ hours a week (seasonality can impact this)
Work Location: On-site
Reports to School Leadership
Lifeguard Certification is required and must be maintained during time of employment (training available)
Current CPR-PR, First Aid, and AED certifications are required within 30 days of hire and be maintained (training available)
Expected to learn the curriculum to include all safety aspects within 30 days of employment.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Comfortable working around water and interacting with children and parents.
Must be able to lift and push up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for long periods
