Job summary

Modern Support Services in Long Beach, CA is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to empower individuals with I/DD across LA and Orange Counties. You will mentor, guide, and advocate while providing personal care, community access, and support for medical appointments.

We offer flexible shifts (part-time and full-time), weekend rotation, competitive pay of $20.00–$21.00 per hour, and opportunities for growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Be 21+ years old.
• Must pass a background check.
• Previous experience in human services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) in daily activities.
• Provide Community Access and Personal Care.
• Assist with Medical Appointments and Transportation as needed.
• Support peer interactions and recreational activities.
• Mentor, teacher, guide, and advocate for clients.

What You Need to Apply:

• Be 21+ years old
• Have reliable transportation and a valid CA Driver's License
• Must pass a background check
• Previous experience in human services is a plus
