The Opportunity

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will be a mentor, teacher, guide, and advocate for adults with I/DD, helping them build skills, participate in their community, and achieve their personal goals. This is a hands‑on role with real responsibility and visible impact.

What You'll Do

• Provide person‑centered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, while preserving dignity, independence, and choice.
• Coordinate and accompany individuals to community outings, recreational activities, and medical appointments.
• Encourage and facilitate positive peer interactions, social engagement, and community inclusion.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, documenting observations and sharing updates to ensure consistent, high‑quality support.

• Within your first months, you build trusting relationships with the individuals you support and learn their routines, preferences, and goals.
• You reliably follow support plans, show sound judgment in day‑to‑day decisions, and escalate concerns appropriately.

Compensation and Benefits

• $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
• Benefits for full‑time positions, including health insurance, flexible schedules, and opportunities for ongoing training.
• Full‑time and part‑time positions available
• Day shifts with rotating weekends; 4‑hour and 8‑hour shifts available, with at least one weekend day likely required.
