Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Supply Chain Manufacturing to lead technology-enabled transformation for Life Sciences clients, focusing on plant performance, quality, compliance, and supply reliability.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, translate plant needs into actionable requirements, and drive design, testing, adoption, and stabilization across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, and other systems, with travel up to 80-100%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, supply chain, information systems, business, or related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in Life Sciences manufacturing, manufacturing technology, operational excellence, or related.
• Experience leading client-facing manufacturing, digital, data, or technology workstreams through design and deployment.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical-device, or regulated environments.
• Ability to translate manufacturing needs into process, data, integration, and testing deliverables with cross-team coordination.
• Understanding of GxP, data integrity, validation, and change-control concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing Life Sciences manufacturing transformation workstreams with clear ownership of plans, deliverables, risks, decisions, and outcomes.
• Assess current-state production and quality processes with data analysis and plant engagement.
• Translate priorities (yield, throughput, right-first-time, batch time) into designs, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop functional designs for batch execution, electronic batch records, recipe management, and related capabilities.
• Coordinate integration across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, historians, SCADA, DCS/PLC, and cloud/edge platforms.
• Define data mappings, master-data needs, interface specs, and data-quality controls for reporting, analytics, and AI use cases.
• Help deliver analytics and AI use cases by assessing data readiness and workflow fit.
• Work with quality and validation teams to reflect GxP and data integrity in deliverables.
• Oversee configuration activities, testing, deployment readiness, training, cutover, and handover.
• Facilitate cross-functional sessions across manufacturing, quality, IT, data, and vendor teams.
• Manage scope, schedule, resources, quality, and risks; contribute to estimates and proposals.
• Coach junior team members and capture reusable design patterns.
