Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Supply Chain Manufacturing to lead technology-enabled transformation for Life Sciences manufacturers, improving production, quality, and supply reliability through digital and AI-driven solutions.

You will guide workstreams from assessment to deployment, translating plant-floor needs into actionable requirements and coordinating specialists across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, historians, SCADA and OT systems, while ensuring GxP and data-integrity in all deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, supply chain, information systems, business.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in Life Sciences manufacturing, manufacturing technology, operational excellence, industrial data and AI, technology consulting, or related field.
• Experience leading a client-facing manufacturing, digital, data, or technology workstream through design and at least one implementation or deployment phase.
• Experience working in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical-device, or comparably regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience translating manufacturing needs into process, functional, data, integration, or testing deliverables and coordinating business and technical contributors.
• Knowledge of GxP manufacturing and data integrity considerations in digital solutions.
• Ability to travel as needed; travel can range from 80-100%.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing Life Sciences manufacturing transformation workstreams with plan ownership.
• Assess current-state production and quality processes, data flows, and site constraints.
• Translate priorities into process designs, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop functional designs for batch execution, electronic batch records, recipe management, genealogy, connected-worker workflows, and more.
• Coordinate integration across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, historians, SCADA, and OT systems.
• Define data mappings, master-data needs, interface specs, and data-quality controls.
• Support analytics and AI use cases by evaluating data readiness and workflow fit.
• Ensure GxP and data-integrity requirements are reflected in workstream deliverables.
• Oversee configuration, testing, deployment readiness, training, cutover, and handover.
• Facilitate cross-functional sessions across manufacturing, quality, IT, OT, and vendors.
• Manage scope, schedule, resources, quality, risks; contribute to estimates and proposals.
• Coach junior team members and capture reusable requirements.
