Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Life Sciences manufacturing to lead technology-enabled transformation workstreams, improving plant performance, quality, compliance, and supply reliability. You will coordinate MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, OT systems and translate plant needs into actionable requirements for regulated environments.

The role blends manufacturing know-how with digital, data, AI, and delivery skills, guiding workstreams from assessment through design, implementation, and stabilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, supply chain, information systems, business.
• At least 7 years of relevant Life Sciences manufacturing or related experience.
• Experience leading a client-facing manufacturing or digital workstream.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical-device regulated environments.
• Ability to translate needs into process and data deliverables.
• Understanding of GxP, data integrity, and validation considerations.
• Willingness to travel 80-100%.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing workstreams in Life Sciences manufacturing transformation with ownership.
• Assess current-state production, data flows, and site constraints.
• Translate priorities into process designs, acceptance criteria, and improvements.
• Develop functional designs for batch execution, electronic batch records, recipe management.
• Coordinate integration across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, and OT systems.
• Define data mappings and master-data needs for reporting and AI use cases.
• Support analytics and AI use cases with data readiness and evaluation criteria.
• Ensure GxP compliance in workstream deliverables with validation considerations.
• Oversee testing, deployment readiness, training, and handover.
• Facilitate sessions across teams and manage dependencies.
• Manage scope, schedule, resources, quality, risks; contribute to proposals.
• Coach junior team members and capture reusable patterns.
