Job summary

EY is seeking a Life Sciences Manufacturing Manager to lead technology-enabled transformation programs that improve plant performance, quality, and supply reliability. You will work with pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical-device clients to design, implement, and sustain manufacturing solutions in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, supply chain, information systems, business, or related.
• 7+ years of relevant Life Sciences manufacturing, manufacturing technology, operational excellence, AI, or related field.
• Experience leading client-facing manufacturing, digital, data, or technology workstreams through design and at least one deployment.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical-device regulated environments.
• Ability to travel 80-100% as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing workstreams in Life Sciences manufacturing transformation with clear plans, deliverables, risks, decisions, and outcomes.
• Assess current-state production and quality processes, data flows, and site constraints through workshops and data analysis.
• Translate priorities into process designs, requirements, acceptance criteria, and measurable improvements.
• Develop functional designs for batch execution, electronic batch records, and related capabilities.
• Coordinate integration across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, historians, SCADA, DCS/PLC, and cloud/edge platforms.
• Define data mappings, master data needs, interfaces, and data-quality controls for reporting and AI use cases.
• Deliver analytics and AI use cases with data readiness and governance considerations.
• Ensure GxP compliance, data integrity, validation, and change-control in workstream deliverables.
• Oversee testing, deployment readiness, training, cutover, hypercare, and handover.
• Facilitate cross-functional sessions; manage scope, schedule, resources, and risks.
