Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Life Sciences manufacturing to lead technology-enabled transformation programs for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical-device clients. You will guide cross-functional teams through design, implementation, testing, adoption, and stabilization of solutions in regulated settings.

You will coordinate MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, SCADA, and other systems, translating plant-floor needs into actionable requirements while aligning with quality and validation teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, supply chain, information systems, business or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of relevant Life Sciences manufacturing, manufacturing technology, operational excellence, industrial data and AI, technology consulting, or related field.
• Experience leading a client-facing manufacturing, digital, data, or technology workstream through design and at least one implementation or deployment phase.
• Experience working in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical-device, or comparably regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience translating manufacturing needs into process, functional, data, integration, or testing deliverables and coordinating business and technical contributors.
• Practical understanding of GxP manufacturing and the documentation, change-control, quality, and data-integrity considerations relevant to digital solutions.
• Ability to travel as needed; travel can range from 80-100%.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing workstreams in Life Sciences manufacturing transformation with ownership of plans and outcomes.
• Assess current-state production, quality processes, data flows, and site constraints through workshops and data analysis.
• Translate priorities into process designs, requirements, acceptance criteria, and measurable improvements.
• Develop functional designs for batch execution, electronic batch records, and related capabilities.
• Coordinate integration across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, and automation systems with specialists.
• Define data mappings, master-data needs, interface specifications, and data-quality controls for reporting and AI use cases.
• Support analytics and AI use cases by assessing data readiness and workflow fit.
• Oversee validation, testing, deployment readiness, training, and hypercare for the workstream.
• Facilitate cross-team sessions; manage scope, schedule, resources, quality, and risks.
• Coach junior team members and capture reusable design patterns and delivery lessons.
