The role requires a strong background in GMP facilities, budgeting, and vendor management, with on-site responsibilities to maintain optimal operations and safety standards in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 6+ years of progressive facilities management, with 3+ years in life sciences/pharma/biotech.
• Strong knowledge of FDA GMP, cleanroom standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in managing critical facilities infrastructure and capital projects.
• Budget optimization and cost control with excellent communication to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities operations team including technicians, engineers, and vendors for safe, compliant performance.
• Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BAS, and lab utilities to ensure 24/7 reliability.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with FDA, EPA, OSHA, MWRA and related standards.
• Develop preventive/predictive maintenance programs and leverage data analytics.
• Manage capital projects from planning to execution with minimal disruption.
• Prepare and manage the operating budget while maintaining safety and service levels.
