Job summary

FUJIFILM Americas seeks a Senior Counsel to provide practical, business-focused legal advice on a broad range of commercial matters affecting FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation and its global CDMO business, FUJIFILM Biotechnologies.

You’ll draft and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, licenses, and NDAs, identify risks, and support cross-functional programs with a view to timely, customer-focused outcomes while protecting the company’s rights.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and good standing
• US state bar admission; NC admission preferred
• 3–8 years of relevant legal experience in law firms or in-house
• Strong background in drafting/negotiating complex commercial agreements
• Ability to independently manage workload in a global, matrixed environment
• Familiarity with life-sciences regulatory, GMP, privacy and multi-jurisdictional contracting preferred

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, supply, development, manufacturing, services, licenses, and NDAs
• Advise business teams on legal issues arising from collaborations, bids, and programs
• Identify and mitigate legal and business risks; escalate material issues to senior counsel
• Manage caseload with independence, prioritization, and timely status updates
• Provide advice on IP provisions and license arrangements in coordination with patent counsel
• Develop and improve templates, playbooks, and contracting standards across functions
