Job summary

FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation seeks a Counsel to provide practical, business-focused legal advice and support across its global CDMO businesses. You will draft and negotiate commercial agreements, identify risks, and support strategic customer programs for timely, customer-focused outcomes.

The role requires a JD, active US bar admission, and 3–8 years' experience in law firms or in-house settings, preferably supporting CDMO or life-sciences businesses.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial-contracting background with drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
• Sound judgment and independent issue-resolution within established frameworks.
• Excellent negotiation, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with life-sciences regulatory topics and multi-jurisdictional contracting.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements and licenses.
• Advise on legal and contractual issues arising from customer collaborations and bids.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies; escalate material issues to senior counsel.
• Manage caseload with independence, prioritizing based on risk and deadlines.
• Develop templates, playbooks, and contracting standards across functions and jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with internal experts and outside counsel on specialized matters.
