Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to support a major life sciences capital program. You will lead cost estimation, reporting, risk assessment, and commercial governance across multiple project phases, working with stakeholders and vendors.

On-site presence may be required depending on client needs. The role requires 3–5 years in cost management within construction, preferably on manufacturing or life sciences projects; strong communication and procurement knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant cost management experience in construction.
• Experience on medium to large construction projects; life sciences/industrial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise client on strategies, prequalify vendors, assess proposals and bid documents, and manage appointment process.
• Develop project estimates including construction, fees, direct costs; review junior estimates; present to client with VE and risk assessments.
• Establish cost reporting schedules; review budgets and spend forecasts; maintain commercial risk register; host regular project meetings.
