Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to support a large-scale life sciences and advanced manufacturing program in the Greater Philadelphia area. You will deliver cost management across multiple capital projects, guiding planning through closeout with client-facing responsibility.

Responsibilities include estimating, cost reporting, risk management, and change-order reviews, leveraging benchmarking data and SOX controls where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field required.
• 3–5 years of cost management experience in construction.
• Experience on medium to large construction projects preferred.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise client on strategies, manage vendor prequalification and bids; chair bid interviews and lead appointment.
• Develop project estimates for construction, fees and direct costs; present to client with VE recommendations.
• Establish cost reporting schedules, manage budgets and forecasts, and maintain risk registers.
• Oversee cost control processes, review change orders, and support final accounting and close-out.
