Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to support complex Life Sciences construction projects. You will serve as the key day-to-day client interface, delivering a value-added cost management service across manufacturing, laboratory, and R&D facilities.

The role requires leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently within multi-disciplinary teams. On-site presence is expected with strong commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a cost management role in construction.
• RICS accredited or working towards it is preferred.
• Experience leading cost management on medium or large projects of medium to high complexity.

Responsibilities

• Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide estimate and cost planning including final cost plan.
• Review cost estimates with design services team and general contractor.
• Reconcile changes and ensure data accuracy for GC.
• Prepare cost estimate updates with status information from project managers.
