Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Life Sciences Client Relationship Manager to grow and lead our commercial relationships with Life Sciences clients across the United States. You will own day-to-day account activities, drive P&L, and help expand business while delivering a positive client experience.

You will lead cross-functional teams, shape strategic pursuits, communicate with client executives, and oversee end-to-end service delivery, with travel up to 25% as required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in client-facing roles in consulting or IT services.
• Experience across Sales & Marketing, R&D, or Medical Devices/Med Tech in Life Sciences.
• Proven consultative selling, large deal management, negotiations, and solution design.
• Strong revenue growth track record with client handling, presentation skills, and financial modelling.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic pursuits across deals of varying size, shaping scope, team, and pricing.
• Lead internal teams to develop strategy and drive initiatives across service lines and delivery.
• Lead communications with clients and Cognizant executives up to the CxO level.
• Oversee end-to-end service delivery and amend contracts as needed with the customer.
• Mentor and develop adjacent teams to ensure an exceptional client experience.
