Job summary

Goodwin is seeking a Client Development Manager for its Global Life Sciences practice. You will partner with Life Sciences partners to identify opportunities, tailor messaging, and craft tailored pitches and proposals for clients and prospects.

You will collaborate with GO and partners to develop content, training, and cross-selling opportunities across US geographies, driving growth and stronger client engagement in a high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

8+ years in a practice management, business development or marketing role
2+ years as a manager preferred
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with executives
Experience supporting senior executives on strategic priorities
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
Comfort with matrixed, global environments
Tech-savvy and able to articulate AI-driven client value

Responsibilities

Prepare strategic responses to RFPs/RFIs and craft compelling marketing materials
Support key client development initiatives with internal stakeholders
Monitor and analyze Life Sciences BD opportunities and competitor activity
Lead submissions and rankings for industry programs across geographies
Conduct market research to inform proposals and strategic planning
Mentor team members and share best practices to develop industry knowledge
