Job summary
Goodwin seeks a Client Development Manager to support its global Life Sciences practice. You will partner with Life Sciences leaders to drive growth by targeting clients, qualifying pitches, and crafting tailored storytelling for opportunities.
You will shape high‑quality marketing materials, monitor market trends, and manage competitive intelligence to refine growth plans. Occasional travel across the US is expected.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in practice management, business development or marketing.
- Experience in AmLaw 100 or similar large professional services firms is preferred.
- Strong storytelling and executive-facing communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare strategic responses to RFPs/RFIs and craft compelling marketing materials.
- Support client development initiatives with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor opportunities and analyze industry activity to inform plans.
- Lead submissions for rankings and awards (Chambers, Legal 500, etc.).
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and foster collaboration across practices.
- Conduct competitive intelligence to support client meetings and proposals.
