Job summary

Goodwin’s Global Operations Team is seeking a Client Development Manager to support the Life Sciences practice. You will partner with Life Sciences partners to drive growth, target clients, qualify pitches, and craft compelling storytelling for opportunities.

You will lead submissions to rankings and awards, monitor opportunities, and collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and practice areas across the US. Travel occasionally.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in a practice management, business development or marketing role, ideally in a large professional services firm.
2+ years as a manager preferred.
Ability to engage executive-level stakeholders and manage multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

Prepare well-structured responses to RFPs/RFIs and craft high-quality marketing materials for life sciences pitches.
Support key client development initiatives and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
Monitor opportunities and analyze industry activity to inform strategic planning.
Lead submissions to attorney rankings and industry awards across US segments in life sciences.
Identify cross-selling opportunities and foster collaboration across service lines.
Mentor and develop team members to enhance performance.
