Job summary

Goodwin seeks a Client Development Manager for the Life Sciences practice to drive growth by understanding the market landscape, crafting tailored storytelling for pitches, and informing targeting strategies.

Collaborating with partners, the GO team, and the Marketing group, you will shape strategic priorities and mentor others while influencing cross‑functional opportunities across the US.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a practice management, business development or marketing role at AmLaw 100 or equivalent.
• 2+ years as a manager preferred.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and listening; engaging at executive levels.

Responsibilities

• Prepare strategic responses to RFPs/RFIs and craft high‑quality marketing materials.
• Identify opportunities and tailor strategies to strengthen client relationships.
• Track opportunities and analyze activity to refine business plans.
• Lead submissions and rankings for industry programs across US geographies.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities through collaboration across practice areas.
• Mentor team members and share best practices for development.
