Job summary

Goodwin is seeking a Client Development Manager to support its global Life Sciences practice. You will act as a strategic partner to partners, leveraging industry knowledge to target clients, qualify opportunities, and craft tailored storytelling for new and existing clients.

You will lead pitches, develop differentiated positioning, and drive cross-selling across practice areas while coordinating with the Marketing and Communications team on rankings and industry programs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in a practice management, business development or marketing role.
• 2+ years as a manager preferred.
• Exceptional communication, storytelling, and listening skills; adept at engaging Executive-level stakeholders across formats.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical, organizational, and project ownership skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare well-structured and strategic responses to RFPs/RFIs and handle daily pitch requests.
• Shape marketing materials to elevate Goodwin’s position in life sciences.
• Identify opportunities and tailor client development strategies across stakeholders.
• Monitor and track new business opportunities within Life Sciences; analyze activity and competitor strategies.
• Lead submissions and rankings for industry awards and programs; identify cross-selling opportunities.
