Job summary

GenScript USA Inc/ProBio Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager for Key Accounts in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The role directs and drives sales efforts across designated key accounts on the West Coast, with responsibility to maximize profits for all business units. The ideal candidate will have a life science background, at least one year of sales experience, and the ability to build executive-level relationships, supported by strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life science with hands-on laboratory experience.
• Minimum 1 year of successful sales experience.
• Ability to build executive-level relationships as the primary contact.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of life science and CRO markets (gene synthesis, protein expression, peptide, bioassay, antibody, or cell line development).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% in the field.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals for the assigned region by developing and implementing sales strategies.
• Manage sales pipeline and ensure sustainable sales growth.
• Analyze sales performance, identify gaps and create improvement plans.
• Collaborate with Technical Solution Management to achieve sales goals.
• Propose ideas to boost sales or improvements.
• Coordinate with other departments to maximize productivity.
