Job summary

Randstad North America is seeking a Business Development Director for our Life Sciences East Coast team. The role focuses on generating new business, managing large accounts, and partnering with senior leadership to drive growth in staffing and solutions-based services across the biopharma lifecycle.

The position supports remote work with client-facing time in local markets and requires a track record of closing complex deals with senior client executives.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in Life Sciences staffing business development.
• Deep knowledge of biopharma lifecycle and CDMO/analytical labs.
• Proven ability to close complex, high-value staffing projects.
• Bachelor’s degree; additional education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business through outside sales activities.
• Develop process, strategy, and sales plans for large accounts.
• Collaborate with management to set goals and pricing for bids.
• Lead multi-site operations and budget/forecast management.
