You will work with firm leadership to serve clients, build the business, and mentor staff while maintaining high-quality service and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required, master's or advanced degree desirable.
• CPA required.
• Eight (8)+ years’ experience providing financial statement auditing services in life sciences desired.
• Five (5)+ years’ of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates desired.
• Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, and uphold ethics.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team delivering assurance and consulting services to life sciences clients.
• Proactively engage with clients to understand goals and challenges.
• Develop and implement testing to assess internal controls and suggest improvements.
• Manage all fieldwork ensuring quality and timely delivery of results.
• Provide financial statement guidance and business recommendations based on testing and gathered information.
• Deliver business insight through review, analysis, and discussion.
• Manage engagement staffing, billing, collections, and client profitability targets.
• Help grow Baker Tilly's Life Sciences practice by generating new opportunities with clients.
