Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking an Audit Partner in West Hartford, CT to lead industry-specific audit engagements for middle market clients. You will mentor staff, collaborate with leadership, and drive the growth of the Life Sciences practice.

You will work closely with clients to understand goals, oversee fieldwork, and deliver high-quality financial reporting and business guidance, while advancing professional development and firm initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• CPA required.
• Eight (8)+ years’ experience providing financial statement auditing in life sciences desired.
• Five (5)+ years’ supervisory experience desired.
• Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team delivering audit and assurance services to middle market clients.
• Engage with clients to understand goals and provide financial statement guidance.
• Manage fieldwork to ensure quality and timely delivery of results.
• Develop testing of internal controls and provide improvement recommendations.
• Drive growth of Baker Tilly's Life Sciences practice and build client relationships.
