Job summary

MED Institute Inc. is seeking an Account Manager to drive business development and sales for client services in West Lafayette, IN. The role involves leading interactions with potential clients, gathering market intelligence, and coordinating with marketing and service leaders to win new business.

The position requires a B.S. in Marketing or a related field and at least two years of sales/marketing experience in Life Sciences.

Qualifications

B.S. in Marketing, Business, or similar field is required.
Minimum of two years of sales and marketing experience.
Experience in Life Sciences (Commercial and/or R&D) required.
Experience in medical device and CRO industry preferred.
Experience using CRM software.
Strong written and verbal communication, recordkeeping and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work in a team and be trained.
Ability to travel based on business needs.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship will be provided.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with service area leaders, management and colleagues to win new business.
Identify, qualify, and contact new business leads.
Gather and maintain complete client information in the CRM system.
Actively participate in business development, marketing and sales activities.
Contribute to the development of marketing materials.
Cultivate relationships with existing clients through regular follow-up communications.
Represent the company at tradeshows, conferences and events.
Provide feedback to management on market trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
Sleuth information from various sources, analyze, consolidate and distribute to management.
